In this innovative electricity generation approach, the fossil fuel in the combustion engine powered electricity generator is replaced with battery while the combustion engine with the rotating shaft is replaced with DC motor. The DC motor is powered by a battery (12V 200AHr) and thus the shaft of the motor rotates. The motor shaft is coupled with an alternator using direct coupling method to enhance the efficiency of the system.

The alternator has different windings of which one is for the output voltage and another is for feedback into the system for battery charging.

The output voltage, speed of the DC motor and in effect the speed of the alternator, charging power and battery voltage level are monitored by a microcontroller which program was written in C in MPLABX IDE. 

The rating of the electricity generated was 1000VA, and thus the system had n overload detector monitored by the microcontroller
