ACCOMPLISHMENTS

This is a 2019 project carried out to learn more about using light emitting diode (LED) for display of massages which can be employed in parks, schools, churches, institutions and business establishment to pass massage to the public

Conventional fossil fuel electricity generator have combustion engine which uses the energy from the burnt fossil fuel to rotate shaft in the engine. In order to generate electricity from this combustion engine, alternator is attached to the shaft of the combustion engine. In this design and construction, the combustion engine is replaced with a DC motor which rotates the alternator to generate electricity.

This unit was constructed to realize the paper I presented at the 4th Engineering Conference of the Federal polytechnic Idah. The system monitors the water in the soil and thus pumps water when the water in the soil is below a preset limit. This is important for farming as the farmer do not have to do manual irrigation with its attendant challenges while also aiding all round farming in Nigeria and the world in general

This is a microcontroller based induction motor speed control. The speed of the induction motor was controlled using voltage as the variable input as changing the input voltage to the induction motor changes the voltage per frequency ratio of the induction motor, thus changing the speed of the induction motor
